MASL would like to invite you to this exciting opportunity for school librarians and educators. Lawrence Alexander is renowned for his dynamic speaking style. His presentation will focus on identifying personal biases and providing strategies and support for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in your school library.

This special event can be experienced virtually in the comfort of your own home or with a group of educators in one of these locations around the state:

  • Bangor High School 
  • Greely High School, Cumberland
  • Kennebunk High School
  • Lewiston High School
  • Mt. Ararat Middle School, Topsham
  • Stewart Learning Center, Lincoln
  • Oxford Hills Middle School, South Paris
  • Rangeley Lakes Regional School
  • Skillin Elementary School, South Portland

After the virtual presentation, in-person groups will engage in facilitated discussions and activities about how best to put his ideas into practice.

Current MASL and MCELA Members: $15

New/Renewing Members: $40 (includes membership through August 2023)

Guests & Non-Members: $25 (invite a colleague or administrator!)
